Fun sketch today! For no good reason or excuse, I rearranged it a tad...turned it on its side and one rect panel became my sentiment flag because I liked the diamond plate embossed panel and couldn't make myself cover it up, lol. Kind of like that old Nursery Rhyme...Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary. See my sis is named Mary, but apparently my name had always been Quite Contrary.
Anyway, this is also for a special ODBD bday hop. I made the bg for the largest layer & truck image by swiping various colors of Copic markers across a piece of vanilla card stock then stamped truck and tire tracks top of these using the brown chalk ink.
I fussy cut the truck and attached it to a deckled rectangle of vanilla. The metallic bronze layer was embossed & the sentiment was die cut and attached to a leftover strip of the background with small bronze brads.
Thanks so much for looking! Links and more details are on my blog: The Write Stuff

AMAZING Julie!! I LOVE your "side swiped" background with such wonderful colors and the chalk tire tracks across!!! GREAT big MUD truck and fantastic diamond plate embossing too! Can a GUY card get any better?!!! Nope, I don't think so!

What a fun monster truck for the birthday guy in your life, Julie! Nice colors and layout, and my DH said, "Keep on Truckin'!" (He just asked my what DH means. He thought it was Dead Head.) LOL
