I had already started some of this card last evening, before I knew what the color challenge colors were going to be, mainly playing with the pretty metallic dp and border die cut. So I decided to participate in the color challenge today.
I had a lighter shade of pink cut, so changed that to the darker shade that is close to what I think is Raspberry Ripple(looks raspberry-ish to me). No SU! c/s colors here.
This morning I did the pretty roses from the Edgeabilities Rose Blossoms die. That was one of my first Spellbinders dies, and it rarely gets used.
The base is Strathmore 140lb. watercolor paper, it's not white and it's not cream, but a nice shade in between, what I would call vanilla if pressed.
The metallic c/s is very interesting, according to the label, it does have stainless steel metal in it or maybe it's just a thin coating on top, either way, it's a very interesting c/s. This and the pink have been embossed together, though you can barely see it here.

Very pretty..that metallic paper does seem to have a lot of interesting aspects to it... cool! I really like how you did the framing of the rose in such a creative way. Lovely card!

This is a beautiful card Jennifer!! I love the embossing on the brown shade. When I look at that part with all of the texture, I see tree bark. The rose blossom looks lovely against that texture. The diecut is striking against the white. Great job!!

Oh this is beautiful! I have that edgeability also and have only used the big embossing part of it - not the extra little dies. Thanks for the inspiration to use it!!

Don't you love it when your version of SU colors are close! And, don't you love card prep providence!?! This is just beautiful, Jennifer! The metallic, the textured raspberry-ish card, the watercolor (I love watercolor paper/card stock), and then the great SB rose die cut. Super gorgeous!
