 | | This week our cards are headed off to San Antonio, Texas. To a friend of SparklePlenty 1000, Sherry. Sherry has has a bad year, first losing her husband in a tragic accident, then dealing with her own injuries. Sherry is in need of some Teapotter love.
Our theme this week is flowers and maybe a butterfly or two. I got the flowers and more than just a butterfly or two. This card was a hard one to do. I had the flowers, but coming up with a doable design was difficult. I can't say that I'm totally happy with this, but it's going to have to do. I love all the elements, but getting them together was the hardest part.
White panel is embossed with the all over floral ef from the Asian set. Then I die cut the butterfly strip. That was the easy part. The flowers have been sitting around for a couple of months. They were embossed with white ep, then colored in with daubers. The greenery is parts of a Cheery Lynn flourish.
All the little butterflies were creased and glued down where they came from.
I hope this little piece of Myrtle's garden will bring a little sunshine into Sherry's life! |
