This week our cards are headed off to San Antonio, Texas. To a friend of SparklePlenty 1000, Sherry. Sherry has has a bad year, first losing her husband in a tragic accident, then dealing with her own injuries. Sherry is in need of some Teapotter love.
Our theme this week is flowers and maybe a butterfly or two. I got the flowers and more than just a butterfly or two. This card was a hard one to do. I had the flowers, but coming up with a doable design was difficult. I can't say that I'm totally happy with this, but it's going to have to do. I love all the elements, but getting them together was the hardest part.
White panel is embossed with the all over floral ef from the Asian set. Then I die cut the butterfly strip. That was the easy part. The flowers have been sitting around for a couple of months. They were embossed with white ep, then colored in with daubers. The greenery is parts of a Cheery Lynn flourish.
All the little butterflies were creased and glued down where they came from.
I hope this little piece of Myrtle's garden will bring a little sunshine into Sherry's life!

Jennifer this is just beautiful! I love all of your butterflies (mine are inside!) and your beautiful floral vine...I think that this turned out perfectly. Thanks so much for playing along this week. Make sure to get both a butterfly and flower cookie! Hugz.

Oh, how beautiful, Jennifer! The blue and white with a touch of yellow is fresh and spring like, it reminds me of blue skies (and this is as close as I'm coming to seeing them these days!) I love that tiny row of white butterflies and the lovely blue die-cut one along with the delicate flowers!

What a feminine and frilly phenomenon! I just love how you did those butterflies. The embossing and flowers are fantastic. When Sherry holds this in her hands she will definitely feel the love of the teapotters!

Love your abundance of butterflies, shadowed in blue - so delicate and pretty! Love the open, dainty look of your card. For me, I love, love, love the flourishes but I have such a hard time knowing what to do with them. Gorgeous Jennifer!
