 | | Today's Ways to Use it Challenge is a fun one....use your new toys! I will probably be back again this afternoon to try out a new stamp set, but in the meanwhile....here's a card using some of the goodies I found on clearance post-Christmas as well as my new tabletop cutter from SU. Now that I've seen the picture of the card, I promise I will go back and straighten out the banner pieces. I didn't like my sentiment placement and ended up shifting the whole banner, etc onto another card front and didn't recheck things after the move. ANYWAY! I have loved all the banners I've been seeing in the gallery especially where they use the triangle bits left from cutting your bottom notch as additional banner pieces. I found the poinsettia Washi tape that was packed with a music note tape as well at M's. I found the notecards at Staples (was kind of surprised that they were postcards with envelopes rather than a folded card) but at the price I paid its no big deal). I cut to the printed black and then distressed the edges and sponged. I used some old green hemp that I also distressed and then stamped my sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. |
