This card combines two challenges. The CC by Vicki D was to use gold, silver, and white. The SC by Korin I altered a bit by making the horizontal panel into a piece of cording and made a smaller oval sentiment panel rather than a larger circle. No "doodad" either.

Happy New Year, Sallie! And what a fantastic card to start the year :) This was a perfect sketch to combine with the CC. Love the bg behind the tree. I'm like Kim - not sure how you achieved that, but really like the finished look :)

I love that variegated, speckly look to your silver bg paper..very cool!! The simplicity of this is lovely..it works! And the starry die cut is great..I always wondered how that one worked..lol....beautiful card for both challenges Sallie!
