A friend of mine asked me to make a wedding card for one of her friends who was getting married. The couple's last name is Peacock.
I debated about posting this because of the picture quality, but it was such a beautiful card (IMHO) that I thought I would put it out there.
The peacock is a sticker - I think Jolee's. The card is made of shimmer paper and the birdcage is made from that twisted paper that was so popular years ago - it came in skeins, sort of, and you could make gorgeous bows so easily! Wish I could make bows that nice out of ribbon, LOL! Anyway, I pretty much saturated some dark blue with Glimmer mist and let it dry as an experiment. Turned out much prettier than the photo shows. I adhered a piece to fun foam before diecutting.
The sentiment on the inside reads "May you live all the days of your Life in Love." Copied that right straight off of a catalog cover!
