Happy New Year Everyone!!!! It's going to feel good to get back into some kind of routine. I "almost" made a snowflake card today, even though I am vowing to not make any Christmas or winter cards for awhile But today's colors sure lend themselves to a sparkly snowflake or two. My will power didn't waiver and I made a card in tune with the challenge. I deliberately did not use a sentiment so I could use this card for either an anniversary or wedding, or....even DH's valentine card! I embossed my main mat using a cuttlebug emboss folder, which I thought matched the pattern in my hearts pretty well. I then tied some white organza ribbon around the mat, and then tied some gold & silver cord around that. I heat embossed my image using SU gold detail emboss powder, and matted that on SU Brushed gold & silver cs using some nesties. Then popped it up over the top of my ribbon. TFL!

Beautiful card, Mary. It would be perfect for a wedding/anniversary. Love the embossed bg and the shaped panels with the two overlapping hearts. Pretty ribbon/cording accent too.
