Wow, this one could have had a THOUSAND possibilities, when I thought about it, and even though my computer is a BIG favorite thing, I decided to be original and pick another favorite thing in my life - my CAMERA!!
All though my life, first it was my Mom who did all the picture taking, then I caught the 'bug' and snapped pictures of everything - my husband and our memorable trips together in the short time we had together, my kids, holiday celebrations, camping trips to the shore, walks along the beach and boardwalk, vacations, visits out of state to see distant family, and now, I use my camera for my grandkids, holidays, scrapbooking projects, and most especially, visiting my friends across the country and the adventures that ensue on these visits. Nothing keeps memories alive better than pictures, and that brings me great happiness!!
For this card I used some DP I have had for years, stamped the camera with a Unity stamp, drew a little "filmstrip" like the ones the 35mm cameras used to have, made some old fashioned photo corners, put some CE on the camera lens, and added some miniature pictures from my HUGE stash of pictures stored on my computer.
If you would like to join the Twisted Sistahs challenge this week to make a card using your favorite material thing (not human or animal) - i.e., car, chair - whatever, and just add TSC1228 to your keywords - we would love to see YOUR favorite thing!! Thanks for looking!!
