For this week's Queen For The Day challenge, we were to find the Queen that had been named nearest to our birthday! What a fun idea! I just had my birthday, so my Queen is Queen Sue!
This time I selected this VERY pretty card to honor: CAS162 F4A109 Oh So Lovely by sue28 at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the layout the same, but went for a more gender neutral color palette. I didn't have a background stamp that I thought would work, so instead I used the SU! square lattice embossing folder and added a little chalk over the entire panel leaving some areas a little lighter. Instead of pearls, I used nailheads and I decided to leave the sentiment off.
Sue, love you and love your gallery!!! So happy to have the opportunity to honor another of your fabulous cards!!! Hope you have a healthy and happy 2013!

You have made this simple looking vine of flowers so pretty with this turquoise color chalk, Kathleen! I love the black dots and nail heads to tie in with the black cs~
