What a fun project this was! Diane challenged us this week to make a page using Santa colors, red, black and white. I went ahead with a Christmas page and used an existing MDS template (Vintage Overlays 12x12 Template for any MDS users). I didn't change a lot, just put black and Poppy Parade paper behind and added Christmas and winter stamps instead of the flowers that were there. I changed the text to say Merry Christmas, and I added a Christmas Tree from Jolly Bingo Bits. I took part in the Simply My Digital Studio Challenge on Facebook as well, and learned to color in the empty spaces on my stamp (put the popcorn string on the tree). For bling I added Basic Jewels Rhinestones and sized them to fit the centres of my Days in December snowflakes I used the Vintage Overlays stamps again - two of them, one in basic black the other in Gumball Green.

Yes, my husband left the house with her that day for a walk, and I guess ended up at PetSmart (just a couple blocks from home) and all of a sudden the photo showed up in my email, LOL

Wow! What a wonderfully striking page! Love the black background....really makes your photo 'pop'. Love your touch of green with the border and the tree. Thanks for sharing such an amazing page! =)
