I wanted to play with my window die and also with the Martha Stewart Sparkle Texture Effect I bought after seeing Loll Thompson use it for snow. I decided to do two cards - one looking out of the window from inside to outside, and the other the reverse.
This one is looking out from the house and seeing a snowman. The snowman stamp has snowflakes as part of it - I went over the snowflakes with a Stardust pen. The sky is sponged with two shades of blue and the snowy ground with a very pale shade of blue.
I taped a piece of clear plastic on the back of the window die and then painted the Sparkle Texture (thinned with white acrylic paint) on the back of the plastic to represent the snow on the outside of the window panes. The Sparkle Texture has quite a lot of dimension to it so I added dimensionals to the edges of the window die and the Sparkle Texture supported the inner part of the die.
