I used the faux wood technique on a piece of beige paper that was already textured and "grooved" to create the court. I used direct-to-paper with the following dye inks: SeaShells Sandal, SeaShells Peach Bellini and Shadow Ink Soft Gray. Then taking a white colored pencil I drew in the 3 point arch, center court and traced around the perimeter. I framed the court with black cardstock.
I printed the Hambo digital image of "Basketball" onto Georgia Pacific cardstock three times. I colored the basketballs with Copic markers, along with the basketball hoop stand. I adhered some white string to the net portion of the image. I placed the court, the basketballs and the hoop onto a piece of patterned paper from Basic Grey. I paper pierced around this layer and faux stitched with a colored pencil. I framed the panel with black cardstock.
The sentiment is also from the Hambo digital image "Basketball". I framed it with black cardstock, and adhered a golden star brad above the sentiment.
