IC367 CANDY CANE MERRY CHRISTMAS

Here is my card for today's IC367. It is one layer w/minimal embellishments (buttons,) I was inspired by these straws at the fun, retro-vintage webstore, House 8810:

On a white Paper Studios card base, I stamped Tim Holtz woodgrain background in Ranger vintage photo distress ink. Stamped the Ranger Dylusions greeting in black Stazon. Colored the candy cane with a SU real red marker, and the white with a Signo gel pen. Added three buttons, one brown and two darker red-tone. Strung them together with Annie's red/white twine.

Gabby, this is terrific! I love the candy cane strips above and below that awesome font on Merry Christmas. Fantastic card!

Well! Who wouldn't be inspired by those RED straws??? I love the woodgrain bg, and those two straws surrounding the sentiment!!
