The challenge was to use a napkin to make faux felt or suede/ I decided to use cardstock instead by breaking it down and pulling it apart. :) It was an option! :)

Very pretty. That faux suede made by breaking down and splitting cs feels and looks nice. The net/mesh/tulle counts as fabric too.

Ha, I think I might be going for this option too as I've failed every other time I've tried the technique Val linked to. Great Christmas colours and festive feel.
