| For me Chanukah is a time to stop and remember that our God is a God of Miracles. With all the trials of life itÂ’s good to stop and recharge those faith batteries in this way.
We donÂ’t have a special Menorah, I just use whatever candle I can easily get my hands on. I light it with the children at sundown each of the 8 days and then we speak out our declaration together.
This year I added a small bible study at the end of our little ceremony looking at the miracles performed by GodÂ’s Prophets and Apostles, and Jesus Himself.
Special Technique:
I blended a candle into the bottom of the background paper and the journal card using Soft Light. |
