Today's Free For All Challenge was perfect! It enabled me to play along and still feel like I was working on my miles long to-do-list! I now have two bags ready to fill with Christmas goodies!
I immediately thought of this card of mine that was almost one layer. I used the same technique with a different stamp under the medallion image. I inked my branch from Peaceful Wishes with Artichoke and Cherry using markers and stamped it onto my Vanilla tag (cut with a Sizzix 3 tags die). I then inked the Medallion in Versamark and stamped over this and embossed with clear ep. I sponged Crumb Cake over the Medallion to reveal it. On the one tag I also stamped the Weathered bg (it was supposed to be Crumb Cake, but someone had played with their toys and put them away without cleaning, oops, so it ended up Cherry!). I added Jumbo Eyelets and some chunky twine and crumpled Cherry Cobbler seam binding.

I remember that card you mentioned -- and your tags are just as beautiful! I'm going to have to try that sponged medallion technique. It sure is pretty!
