 | | Whew! Last upload for the challenges issued today to celebrate the CAS 200th Party. This one was to make a card using balloons. I looked and looked, but could not find a stamp that worked so started looking for a punch. Didn't have one of those either. Then I thought of using the ornament die from the new SU set I got upside down...I was real proud of myself, until I looked on the gallery and saw that my card appeared to be a CASE of Nanc'ys...sorry Nancy...I honestly did not have time to look at the other cards in the gallery in between laundry, shopping and family things today. So I apologize, but am too tired to make another card...besides, it is a good way to use a die for more than one purpose. I cut my ballons from a Recollections glitter Holiday Pack I have been waiting to use...beautiful softer Holiday colors. I then used the JOY that a stamper friend had cut out at a recent stamp camp and didn't use...I snatched it and saw it laying on my desk when I was trying to make this card...it seemed to fit..the Joy of the season...celebration balloons! I am still kinda surprised that there is no stamping on my card. I cannot remember a time when I have not atleast stamped a sentiment! |
