I saw this free Elf Stocking Pattern by Patty Young and thought it would be fun to try to turn it into a digital design ... and I was thrilled with how well it worked. I cropped the picture of the stocking at the bottom right of page two and turned it into a clipping mask for some digital papers to create my design.
I paper pieced my stocking using La Creme Digital papers from DCWV ... I loved the large floral elements on the main stocking design. The background is Anna Aspnes ArtsyKardz Snow Digital Card. After printing I added ink to the edges, three sizes of pearl accents, and blue & black colored pencil for some highlights to the design. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Holiday Cheer Messages stamped in India Ink.

Nice card! The blue bkgrd beautifully showcases your so cute elf stocking. The dp w/the print works great and the pearls are a perfect addition. You did a great job digitizing the card, too. I wouldn't know where to begin.
