 | | This was my take on Kittie Caracciolo's tag (day 5) over in Ellen Hutson blog for the 12 Tags of Christmas.

I thought her tag was all white (this is what happens when you stay up too late) and it all blended together so I ended up doing just a bit of sponging to make the layers stand out a bit. I didn't have a tree or deer die so I hand cut out the layers of the pine tree out of the same glittery card stock as the tag itself. Since there was already a touch of color, I added a little twine bow to the top of the tree and some sheer white ribbon for the tag part. The snowflakes came from a mini garland I cut up. I liked it simple and clean so I just stopped working on it before I messed it up.
