Here's a card for today's sketch challenge - a great opportunity to mix dp's which I love to do. The edges of the card base have been sponged with distress ink to add to the retro look - if I could have just one stamp pad besides Memento Tuxedo Black, it would be Ranger Distress Antique Linen, I really like how it adds just a touch of color to make paper look like it's been in Grandma's attic for years. The flower is made using a Papertrey ink die, the sentiment is Verve, and most of the dp is October Afternoon

Bridget, this cheerful card alone, would lift anyone's spirits, adding in the praying for you sentiment, adds to the pure sweetness!! A real joy to look at!

Fabulous card Bridget. Love the flowers. May need to buy that particular die. I also love the Antique Linen and you used it in a really interesting way. You are right. It gives an old look to your background paper. Love all the dp too.

Bridget this is so lovely. I love all that dp and you chose great patterns to blend! And the sewing really adds character. I like to sew on cards and in scrapbooking, but I'm to lazy to take my sewing machine out of it's case, set it up and sew; and my craft room isn't large enough to let it stay up all the time. What a cheerful, cheerful card. Faving it.
