IC365 - Signals Birthday
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: BobbiesGirl

I had already grabbed one of the samples because life is always a rush and I convinced myself to go looking on the Signals site. Wow! I'm glad I did. I came up with this for inspiration. You need to click on the ENLARGE button

http://www.signals.com/signals/Clear...s_cti-2ZZ.html

I found a piece of textured CS in a matt that was sticky backed (for people in a hurry) and inked the inside of my Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder with Ranger Walnut Stain. Ran the CS through and tore the edges. Then I did the ink smoosh method (I never know what it's really called) on glossy white paper with some SU reinkers and stamped my SU Embrace Life flowers. One of the flowers is embosed with clear eb and one is left plain. I like them both. Added a jewel in the center of each and glued them on. Sentiment is old, unmarked from a stamp fair. I really like it.

Hi Carol! This is gorgeous. Love the pretty blue flowers against the woodgrain. Your tearing looks like a tree.

I haven't tried stain on the embossing folder ... must do ... also love that smoosh method for the blooms ... stunning inspired card.

WONDERFUL card! Love the wood emb background w/the stain. I have permanently stained a couple of my emb folders from inking them up ... but what a great effect, right? The "smoosh" flowers are very pretty. :)

Oh, how gorgeous! I'm glad I've just spotted this - better late than never. That blue reminds me of the first time I ever saw gentians!!
