Made this card for my step-dad's 81st birthday later this month. When I saw this image/sentiment set from Art Impressions, I just knew I had to get it to make a card for him. Can't say that he falls asleep still holding the snack bag, but when he gets settled in his Lazy Boy in front of the TV, it isn't long before he is "resting his eyes." LOL!
I stamped my image twice -- once on PTI cardstock and once on the green DSP (MME/Stella Rose Hazel Collection). Colored in everything but the chair using my Copic markers, then paper pieced the recliner. Added a touch of Always Artichoke sponging to give the chair more of a "lived in" look. Added glossy accents to the remote buttons.
The bottom DSP is also from the Hazel collection. The top DSP is from Dear lizzy Neapolitan collection.
