Hi again. Here's my challenge for using the Cookie Press stamps and if you don't have them or the time for baking but just making really cool things to give them in. The grocery bakery is your friend! That's exactly what I did with this except I just thought about that I have gingerbread men stamped all over the place so to keep theme, my cookies should be gingerbread, right? No. I got these cookies while sick at Trader Joe's so they are peppermint cookies with gingerbread packaging. Okay....., but my peppermint candy cane goes with the peppermint cookies! Wow, what an epic fail this project is, but it is super cute, yes? Good. I'm glad that you think so!
I am so lazy so I let the SU products do all of the work for me such as the texture, cutting my gift box, everything. The only "hard" work I did was emboss everything, including the faux red pearls that you see. I swear I'm going to make a video about this and I think I did but am not sure. All you do is put the pearl or rhinestone on your piercing tool (I have about 10 of them and use it for everything), and then cover it with Versamark. Sprinkle over embossing powder and heat emboss it and voila! SU-colored pearls and rhinestones! The second that baby heats, stop. If you keep going, it will melt right off. If the sticky on the back gets all wonky on you, just put a glue dot on and you're good to go.
