Van Gogh on Stars

For the CAS and TLC challenges this week, I combined inspiration from Galileo's quote on stars and glittered dry embossing.

I used a quote by Vincent Van Gogh which is also on stars ("I know nothing with any certainty but the sight of stars makes me dream.") - it is heat embossed in gold in the centre of my embossing folder. The folder has stars on it, and I used it on a cream shimmer cs and then brayered over the raised parts with Crystal Stickles with a bit of gold glitter added to it. It's more glittery IRL. The embossed panel is popped up with dimensionals on a matching cardbase.

I'm not sure if I'll use it as a Christmas card or save it for something else.

I love the embossing and the colours suite that quote (which is also great!) perfectly. Thanks for sharing from another person who loves stars :)

Christmas card or not, tough one. In my opinion, the glitter and shine = Christmas. Then again, stars and dreams = birthday. Either way, your card is gorgeous.
