 | | My CAS198 Challenge to be inspired by a Galileo Quote. I instantly thought of trying something using the "Masking Fluid Resist" Technique. I LOVE this technique. So many possiblities and you NEVER know how it is going to turn out.
After using an old toothbrush to lightly "throw" on the masking fluid onto W White CS I then let the masking fluid air dry. Then sponged lightly in a circular motion with Pool Party trying for a "Milky Way" effect. I then sponged in circular motions the Night of Navy adding more and more ink until I was happy with the effect.
I then embossed the 3 stars and sentiment. I thought of the eb stars as planets and the white dots as stars.
I finished the card without embellishments just framing with gold metallic CS and W White CS. Keeping it simple. The fun part..carefully rubbing off the masking fluid with your finger for the final results :-)
I really liked the results and hope you do too.
