I made this card for my daughter for her birthday. I think you might guess from this card that she likes to sew and make quilts. But rarely finds time for it these days.
I think the sewing machine was cut from a spellbinder die. I borrowed the die from a friend so long ago, because I knew it would be perfect to make a card for my daughter. But I forgot which die it was that I used.
I cut the sewing machine out of black card stock, then sponged it with gold ink while in the die, than heat embossed the whole piece with clear embossing powder.

This is such a wonderful birthday card for your daughter! I admire those who can quilt! It is such an amazing artform, with so many possibilities! I bet this makes her feel special, you are a good Mom!!!

What a fantastic card for someone who loves to make quilts, the bg dp is beautiful and the die-cut is perfect - and I like the way you added the blanket stitch to the sentiment!!

This is one terrific card! I love the old Singer sewing machine and totally love the bg! My mom and I made throw pillows many, many years ago just like the bg! I still have one somewhere. I think it was called windowpane or stained glass windows, pattern. Love your card!!!
