When I first saw the colors for today's color challenge to use red, green, and gray, I grimaced a bit with gray being in the combination. However, it worked out perfectly for my scene by using cool gray shadowing on the outer edges of my images, warm grays on the sled, and Going Gray ink for the skies.
My stamping process:
Stamped my downhill racers, masked them, lightly sponged outlines for my hills/snowy ground with sponge dauber and Going Gray ink, stamped my trees in Wild Wasabi, sponged my sky with Going Gray and a light touch of Bashful Blue, colored the downhill racers with Copic markers, painted green stickles on the trees, added twine.
