For good or bad, sometimes when I see the colors posted, an idea jumps into my head and I go with it. Peggy's colors said "poinsettia" me:
Real Red
Basic Gray
Gumball Green
Dessert: something with snow, which I didn't add. You are probably all tired of my toothbrush snow by now anyway. : ) I used mainly Copics for the chosen colors....grays to fill in the bg around the blossoms and leaves.

So pretty, Sallie! I love your poinsettias and you've colored them so beautifully. The first year I made all our Christmas cards, this was the stamp I used and I still love it!

An exceptional piece of work with these colors, Sallie. That image in flannel gives it such a soft look; the coloring on the flower is amazing (like watercolor) and I love the grey bg. And NO, I am not tired of the toothbrush snow. You are the queen of toothbrush snow and I love it!

Hmmmmm? Toothbrush snow? I need to go back in your gallery and seek it out. These poinsettias are really magnificent. They remind of Christmases long ago.
