Just playing with some dies from Impression Obsession and Spellbinders... thought I'd try to see if the Blossom dies could look like a pine cone. What do you think? Pine cone? or does it just look like a brown rose?

Beautifully done and what a grand idea! To me - It looks like a pine cone at first glance and then like a pine flower at a closer look. That's what we call the really tiny, squatty little pine cones that grow on a different variety of pines here in North Florida. It's very pretty no matter what you call it. TYFS!

Wonderful card! Great use of multiple die cuts and your color and paper selection is terrific. I think it looks like a rolled rose. I think Tim Holtz' tattered pine cone die is awesome. Follow this link and click on the first video to see how it's made:

You may have a scalloped rose die that is similar that you can try to use to make a pinecone?!? I have yet to do that. :)
