 | | I really love glitter so was pleased to see today's Free for All Challenge - Add Glitter. We could use any glitter technique we liked.
I used the Burnished Velvet technique with double sided tape. I laid down a wide strip of it, and then punched out various butterflies from the protective layer on the tape. I used the punched shapes to mask the exposed sticky side of the tape and added the white background glitter, burnished it well, then one by one removed the butterfly masks and did different colours of glitter on each. The largest bottom butterfly has a variety of colours sprinkled on it. To add to the glitter, I mounted it on pink glittered cs and heat embossed the sentiment with a sparkly ep.
It's for a friend's teenage daughter's birthday next week - she loves sparkle! |
