when I had seen that the free for all challenge was to use glitter, I just HAD to partake of that one...I mean if any of you know me I have troubles NOT putting some kind of little bling on my cards so this is soooo perfect for a fun evening..:0)
I also had to honour our queen this week, Sue.. Queen 140..you need to join us...she has an amazing gallery, lots of neat things to see and work from...like this cute little bird house card she did...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=30633. when I was touring her gallery she had a few she was enjoying making for a bit and I never have made one so I thought what a perfect time to try one...they are so cute. So I used her idea but after a few decided lets make one decorated for Christmas.
IT is also for the ODBD challenge to make a Winter holiday card or project .
I cut and embossed the bg paper, added the roof with a border punch. sponged all the edges in ruby lightly and added snow, holly, and glitter with some white pine leaves or branches which dont show up too much and I used a string of gold beads for the bottom...lots of bling and lots of fun. Oh and the snow is just really fine paper bits from the dollar store...works neat but youll need to sweep or vaccuumm after...lol...poofs all over.
