For today's Ways To Use It Challenge 402: Black Friday. . .
I suppose this is more black and red with a pop of white, but the red just had a mind of its own!
My image is by Flourishes from Snow Day, available at i {heart} papers. I stamped on X-Press Copic Blending cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored with Copic markers C1, C3, C5 and a Silver Prismacolor pencil. I added a little sparkle to the skates' pom poms with Crystal Stickles.
My shimmery ribbon is from the November Really Reasonable Ribbon Club Assortment. I added some bling to my bow and a couple of snowflake brads. The background is embossed with Lifestyle Craft's Zig Zag embossing folder. Everything is held together with i {stick} papers red line tape and Zva Creative Adhesives (IHP).
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Beautiful card featuring the ice skates, Judy. Whenever I see ice skates I think of my DH's late aunt whom I adored. She was a fabulous skater and taught ice skating for many years. Nice memory on this "family holiday"....Thanks! May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

Oh this is so pretty Judy! I'm glad to see someone else but me used more of the popped color than perhaps we were supposed to Safety in numbers, right? I love your skates. I keep thinking I need to get a stamp of skates. Love your layout. Faving it.
