Monday's Technique challenge was Emboss the Edges. I gold embossed my edges of the Very Vanilla panels. After I put it all together, I kind of wondered if I should have added gold embossing to the edges of the leaves/poinsettia.
This is also for today's sketch challenge.
I die cut the poinsettia out of Very Vanilla card stock. I wanted a soft tinge of pink to my poinsettia so I inked up my square lattice embossing folder with the Spun Sugar distress ink and dry embossed the poinsettia. I also sponged the edges of the petals and the leaves.

GORGEOUS, Charlene. Love the pink-tinged ivory poinsettia(the real ones are some of my favorites), Love how you paired it with the sage green(Sage Shadow is my all-time favorite SU color...still mourning its demise). The combination is knock-out. The gold embossing lifts it to a VERY elegant card.
