Today I made my card in memory of my sweet friend, Beverly. Beverly was also known as Ravioligirl on SCS. She passed on November 5th from a courageous battle with cancer. I was lucky enough to have received a big box of some of Beverly's stamps, sent my her daughter, and decided to use one on a card today in her memory. It brought me great joy to be using some of her stamps today.

it's always difficult to learn a fellow scs'r has passed away. I'm sorry I never got to know her work through the gallery, but you obviously did. It's was such a kind and gererous thought to send you her stamps, Emily. You've done this stamper justice w/your peaceful and serene scene.

Emily, this is gorgeousness.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia

Emily, your card is so beautiful and peaceful. I am so sorry to hear about Beverly, I do recognize her screen name. Such sadness so close to the holidays. May using her stamps to create beautiful things ease your sense of loss. Hugs.
