This is my card for this weekÂ’s color challenge #402. Julia is our hostess and she chose a great trio of colors in perfect plum, white and night of navy.
Dessert is to use some sparkly. I wanted to use some stickles on the clouds but I forgot to add it before I took my photo..
For my card I used some new toys I just received from MFT. I decided to make a card for my sweet granddaughter in San Francisco.
I had this great paper that I bought while I was out visiting them in May. It is a layout of the streets and has there’s on it. So I had the idea of this airplane flying over their house carrying my “miss you” banner.
The airplane is cut in night of navy from the airplane greeting die-namics as is my sentiment. The clouds are from the jumbo cloud die-namics. I sponged them in perfect plum ink.
My card is a long one (8 1/2") but will fit in a #10 business envelope. ThatÂ’s my sample for this week.
Mary this is a cool card. I love the map. Would like to get my hands on some of that paper. I spent a lot of time in Sfran. I grew up in LA and my Dad lived in SF so I flew up there quite often. I was just there last year. Love that place. Your card is awesome. Like that plane too.
