Greetings, today I have a CottageCutz card to share. Don't let my title fool you. Just because this is a Fall Vine with Bird you can still make a Christmas card with this die. I just used Recollection glitter paper to cut out the vine for a sparkly Christmas look. I cut the die with my Grand Calibur because the paper is thick and I need a nice even pressure to cut out the detail. Then I just used my Martha Stewart Craft Knife to push the die cut vine out of the paper and to help with any trouble spots. I think I only had one.
There's a little distress ink on the bird and a pearl eye. The Punch Around the Page is Martha Stewart Bird and Twig. The corners are a CheeryLynn die-the scalloped circle is Spellbinders. I grabbed the embossing folder that was on the table from another project to emboss the piece behind the bird. All in all this was an easy and fast card to make. Even though it has lots of layers it went together quickly.
Thanks for taking a look. I appreciate your visit. I was busy this weekend in my craft room so I have more to share this week. See you in the gallery.
