Curious, how the need for sympathy cards comes in bursts. This one's for a friend who just lost her DH to lung cancer.
I used a negative mask, sponged with gray, plum and lavender, over stamped with the stamped-off flourishes and dots. I rocked and rolled the flowers and two-stepped the vase. The card base is kraft, which is sort of tan, right?
Hard to stamp through tears. Maybe it's therapy, and we all grieve in different ways.

I'm so sorry for the grief you are experiencing. Your card is beautiful, and it appears to me that it has rays of hope mixed in with the sadness. A very subdued but beautiful card that will convey your friendship and sympathy to your friend.

A beautiful card...stamped with love. So sorry to hear of your friend's loss, Brenda. I think the colors on your card are so soft and serene...just right for a sympathy card.
