Hanukkah Hop - Star Fold Card and Ornament - Night of Navy Jewish Celebrati

Poster: jlfstudio

The large star uses Cindy's Star Fold tutorial from the tutorial page of SCS. The small star ornament is a smaller star I figured the sizing for myself. I thought it was cool that the the folded star mimiced the sizing of the star in the large round Jewish Celebrations image.

See the chart on my blog for the sizing. The actual process is the same as Cindy's just the dimensions are different.

Supplies:

Stamps: Jewish Celebrations (Holiday Catalog)

Paper: Night of Navy DSP from the Regals Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack, Very Vanilla & Night of Navy Cardstock, Brushed Gold Cardstock

Ink: Night of Navy Classic ink

Punches: Extra Large Oval, Decorative Label, 2-1/2″ Circle, 1" Circle, Boho Blossom, 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle (Holiday Catalog)

Other: Simply Score, Stampin’ Trimmer, Gold Glimmer Brad (Basics Glimmer Brad Collection), glue dots and dimensionals.

Note: All stamped images used Night of Navy ink. Some stamped off for a lighter shade. The large star will fit inside a 6″ Square envelope. The diameter is approx. 5-5/8″. The small star fits in a 3″ square envelope and has an approximate diameter of 2-3/4″. The star folds tuck in so the star will hold itself closed making it perfect for either a card or an ornament

These are a selection being featured this week in an SU Hanukkah Hop that's in progress.

Hop and more stars can be found here:

I will also be posting directions and links to tutorials Monday along with a downloadable chart showing dimensions sheet.
