 | | This card is for the new challenge blog Addicted to CAS ... first challenge "snow".
It is also for this week's color challenge at SCS (CC401) - Tempting Turquoise, Gumball Green and Pear Pizzaz (or closest colors available).
And it's for CAS-ual Friday (CFC79 - Winter Blues).
I lightly sponged the sky area with Tempting Turquoise, leaving some white spaces. I then sponged on Certainly Celery (closest I had to Pear Pizzaz), filling the the spaced in the sky and blending the two colors together. I splattered watered-down whisper white ink over the whole card using a toothbrush.
I punched pine branches and painted on some MS Sparkle Texture Effect onto the branches. I glued the tips of the branches only (so that the rest was loose and had movement), starting at the bottom with four, then layering three on top, two on top of that and finally one branch on top. I used two more branches to fill in bare spots.
Hope you'll join us at Addicted to CAS for a fun challenge ... and there's a prize for the winning entry! |
