This is a new set from Flourishes called Stitched for you. Today is a fun set that I know several of my friends will love, not to mention my mom. The set today is called Stitched for You. In highschool I took a sewing class and my mom taught me how to do basic sewing including the famous hidden stitch by hand. Past that I do not sew other than the casual torn pant hem or stuffed animal. ha! However I could muster up a stitch job if needed by hand. Moving on....
I stamped out the material image from Stitched for you onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I then die cut that out using Spellbinders Floral ovals that I popped up on dimensionals. My image is colored using copic collections poppy, sky and gerber daisy. My designer paper is from Echo Park Graceful pad that I did some faux stitching around the edges. I layered that onto more classic white cardstock that was die cut using Spellbinders romantic rectangles. My ribbon is from the Color Made Easy Poppy collection with some crochet lace underneath. My sentiment tag is using our Tailor Made Classic Tags that I attached to the ribbon with ivory jute. A few tiny buttons from the bin finished it off. Thanks for looking
OMG! I fell in love with this image when I saw it on the Sneak Peeks!...Great job making it even more desirable than it was earlier today. I'll need a second mortgage if I keep buying everything you showcase!!!!

Now those are some pretty layers you got going on there. Can't go too wrong with that Romantic Rectangle. Love the ribbon on the side, and the image is pretty darned sweet. Brings back memories of my sewing days....still have my machine up in case I need to stitch a little on a card.

What sewer wouldn't be thrilled with this charming beauty, Stacy. Your coloring is spot on and those little buttons add a darling touch, not to mention that lacy framework. Perfect.

Love-love-love this! My two very fav Spellbinders, married up on this card. Yes!!! And home spun sweetness abounds! The sewing embelli's are so perfect Stac. And did ya know, quilters call that lil stack of material a "Fat Quarter", that always tickled me! Very sweet card.
