Trish chose Gabby(gabalot) to be our Queen for the coming week. Gabby not only has a FABULOUS gallery, but is a stamper who takes the time and effort to leave wonderful comments on so many other's cards.
This CARD of hers inspired me with its Tim Holtz image. I don't know if anyone else is guilty of this...but I HAD to have this die when I had a hot little discount coupon in my hand...bought it....and never did one thing with it. There it sat...until I saw Gabby's card. I changed her lovely falling leaves scene into one with snowflakes. When it is snowing hard, sometimes I walk with an umbrella...so it isn't too far-fetched. : )
A BIG BIG CONGRATS, Gabby. You SO deserve the crown and the honor. Hugs, Sallie

Love the 3-d effect with the die cut out, Sallie. I have the silhouette stamp, but not the die. May have to put this on my wish list. Love the sentiment for your card. Perfect Case of Gabby's.

Wowza! YOU know I LOVE this die cut and I was worried that between the stamp and the cut, I was using it far too much. What can I say? This die "speaks" to me and has captured the writer in me at least 100--now 101--times. Your card is FABULOUS! I totally LOVE the way you turned it from fall to winter and that you cut the dude in white! Duh, why didn't I think of that? Hee! And the inked, emb bkgrd is wonderful. It is interesting that when you raise the cut w/dimensionals, it creates a kind of shadow around him, isn't it? That's a story for another day ... . Thanks for being so kind with your comments, and for coming to my "party," Sallie! Hugs back.
