I got this idea for the collage from a great book I was checking out called Creative Cardmaking for Scrapbookers. They called them serendipity squares, though they were cut free hand, I like the symetrical look better, it looks CAS!
I started with a piece of cardstock, and glued hand tore DP and digital images printed from a free public domain site. I then stamped over the paper randomly with a set of 7Gypsies stamps that include the sheet music, treble clef and star in TH Distress Ink in Walnut, and the merry christmas in red ink. I dabbed over the whole piece with a gold ink pad, then added mini gold star brads. I then cut the piece into four, mounted on textured cardstock and added the sentiment in the same way.
Thanks for looking!
