The SSIC challenge for this week is to take something broken and put it back together. This is a reminder of God's promise and of His faithfulness to bind our wounds and to heal our broken hearts.
For my "broken" elements, I gathered a cast-off die cut from a box of things that didn't fit or work with other projects. The papers are scraps from Paper Studio.
I chose this sentiment because counting my blessings helps to keep things in perspective even when my heart is breaking. There is nothing we can do or experience that is beyond God's power to redeem the broken pieces, even if they are pieces of our hearts.

Christine, Oh that we all would heed your very heartfelt call to action wih the sentiment on your card. Count your Blessings, count them one by one, then you will see what the Lord has done. Thank you for sharing with us.

Such a lovely creation, Christine! Thank you so much for joining us on Stampin' Sisters in Christ. Your choices of "broken" elements and your explanation are perfect reminders of the healing that can come to the broken heart that trusts the Father through it all. Have a blessed week...so glad to find you here!
