 | | It is Remembrance Day today and my card is a thank you to those who are in our military past and present. I do not forget.
The poppy is created from a Sizzix Flower Petal die. The petals have been chalked around the edges, scored in from the margins and cupped using an embossing stylus and old mouse pad in Kitty style. The center is two black circles (part of the die set) cut in a fringe around the edge. I trimmed one of them slightly shorter than the other and glued them one on top of the other and then to the flower centre.
The metallic grey embossed paper is Recollections handmade paper 'Pewter Floral' and the white banner is S.E.I. 'Poppy'. The sentiment is SU Perfectly Penned stamped with black pigment ink and embossed. |
