I used dark green & dark red paper. The green I ran through the plaid cuttlebug folder. Then I used gold stickles to enhance the plaidness. The red corners were cut out with a reverse corner punch. I used the Gingerbread cricut cartridge & cut out a gingerbread man & used the overlay. I put diamond sticles on the overlay icing and made him have a sad face. He is carrying a candy cane (also from the Gingerbread cricut cartridge) and wearing dark glasses. Alas, this poor gingerbread man is blind. He has a bite taken out of the upper right side of his head. I used black stickles to make his buttons and glasses. The bite was created with scalloped scissors. I used a balloon sticker for his words and wrote "I never saw it coming". Thanks for looking

I love your plaid technique, and it really shows up with the gold stickles... The gingerbread man is soooo cute, I love that you made him appear as if a bite had already been taken.... Great card....

SO FUN! Love the bite out of the gingerbreadman's head and your cute sentiment. Very clever. Nice bright, traditional Christmas colors and a bit of glitter for a festive touch.
