This card combines directives from two challenges: the sketch is Mojo Monday 266, and the ODBD challenge for this week is to make a card in white to hail the coming of winter.
The base layer is embossed using a folder that leaves a filigree design around the edges of the rectangle. The rectangular elements from the sketch are embossed using different folders. To make them stand out, one is wrapped in ribbon and bears a pretty ribbon flower. The other embossed design includes flowers which were accented with rhinestones. The central banner is made of vellum and the layers are backed with cranberry paper from Paper Studio to provide a little contrast.
This card weighs a ton! Sometimes our burdens are heavy, but God wants to lift them. We can trust His promise from I Peter.

This is a gorgeous card, a great scripture, and that cranberry colored silk ribbon just sets it off so perfectly. Great job! Thanks so much for sharing this in our challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday. We are so blessed that you choose to play along in our challenges, and I always look forward to seeing your sweet cards.
Have a blessed week, and best of luck in the random draw.

Beautiful!
Favorite scripture and the first one I had hanging on my wall even tho' I had no idea what it meant.
Your card just says it all. Love the layers and color. Thank you for entering our challenge.
Blessings,
