Here's my card for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch 266. I love this sketch and had fun using it. I find it easier to get started with a sketch and then choose my papers and theme. I made another Christmas card to add to my stack - no last minute card making this year.
My card base is SU Very Vanilla, with a mat of SU Cherry Cobler, and all papers are from the SU Jolly Holiday DSP (retired). The striped panel is matted with SU Old Olive. I stamped the small wreath from Verve's O' Christmas Tree in Old Olive ink onto a 2" circle of Very Vanilla and added the sentiment from the same set in Cherry Cobler ink. I sponged the edges with Old Olive also. Stamped the bow on a piece of the DSP and cut it out and adhered it on top. The circle is mounted with foam adhevise onto a Cherry Cobler punched 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle also adhered with foam adhesive. The red panel is cut with MFT Fishtail Flags Stax die and embossed with SU Petals-a-Plenty EF. Then I added the strip of SU Victoria Lace with a button from my stash, which was tied with linen thread.
