I used a sketch from a previous challenge and kept it CAS by making the three background layers white. I used Poppy Stamps new "Blooming Poinsettia" die ... with Rich Razzleberry and Gumball Green cardstock. The poinsettia really pops on the all white background. I let the die do all the work, just adding a bit of shaping to the petals and sponging around the edges to give the flower lots of depth.
For more details, and a close up view of the poinsettia, check out my blog.

How can one pass this one up without a BIG WOW comment. Your poinsettia is the most stunning I've seen. The color combination is beautiful and pops off the white. Gee, I'm bummed as my last card I used a K&C poinsettia - what a cheat I am. It doesn't even come close to this AMAZING one you have created.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I also got this die but have not cut it yet and yours gives me a good preview of how it looks! You picked a wonderful RICH color and it does indeed POP off the page. I love the simplicity that highlights this amazing bloom!

Your Christmas card is absolutely gorgeous! It is so striking in its' simplicity. This is the first time I have ever commented on a card so you know how special I think it is.

Wowza! That flower really does pop! What a great idea of making several layers white to keep the visual interest without compromising CAS style. Love it!
