This is my card for Mary Brown's HYCCT1225A challenge. She wants us to make a card inspired by postage, using stamps or stamp shapes on your card.
I did a vintage collage card. Not a style I usually work with. But when I started to put my idea together it looked vintage and I thought I should distress it.
I received a package from Waltzingmouse Stamps so I saved the royal mail postage to use for this challenge. My bg layer is SU "deck the halls" dsp. I downloaded some cancelled stamp images directly on the paper.
I used the post card sentiment from SU's "winter post" set. My sentiment is stamped on crumb cake cardstock and then I used vintage photo ink to distress it. This sentiment is from ODBD "never give up" set.
I added some ivory mesh and a punched butterfly (as a hope symbol) to complete this card.
